Welcome to our family farm, I'm Jacey Bowers.
HD was created with the Goal of successfully Hybridizing a new and unique line of Bearded Iris’s that could be grown and thrive in this environment. After many years of experimentation, I have found specific cultivars and tested them in our environment with great success meaning they not only flower but multiply at a good rate. The result is to sell the ones with the durability to grow and survive in this climate while knocking everyone out with its beauty, but also of course hybridizing and selling Louisiana irises in the process. Now you can purchase these “works of art” and bring them home to your house or garden.
Iris rhizomes are delivered from our farm immediately after harvest, and they are never warehoused. This ensures the healthiest and most robust iris. The proof is in the bloom!
Ordering & Delivering
We are fully committed to our current inventory but are taking orders for our next batch, which we anticipate will be available this October 2023.
Since we have been selling more than we can grow right now, orders will be handled on a first-in-first-out basis. To reserve your place, you must order either through our website, call me personally, and arrange a time to come by the property in bloom season to reserve them on the spot. We will send you a notice of confirmation. Most confirmations will be processed within 24 hours.

What do I do here? A big part of Hello Darling is to study and research soil with the intent of creating the most harmonious and well-balanced organic environment possible. The soil food network is truly incredible, and becoming more educated while teaching others is key. This is why we will offer videos on how to take care of these plants and continued education for our clients and other growers.
I also hybridize flowers and being able to create new flowers with crazy colors and strong genetics. The end goal is to sell products of the highest quality. These flowers need to have good structure, bud count, growth habits, etc.

I first ask people to keep in mind that this is my first year selling products, so please bear with me. I have decided to wait till October for the irises to be picked up at the Hello Darling farmstead. If you would like me to deliver the irises to you, I can do that for a fee. Currently, I am only servicing the Houston area, and I'm not shipping.
All your plants are in the ground, connected to the great soil network. October is the best time to transplant them from that network to another location allowing for the smoothest transition for both bearded and Louisiana irises. Ordering and purchasing happen in advance with all iris farms, and we are no different. I look forward to meeting you soon!
